1983

Exhibits International is founded.

Exhibits International produces their first corporate exhibit — the Texas Instruments booth at CCS.

1988

Disney approaches kubik to help produce elements of Mickey Mouse’s 60th Anniversary.

1992

In 1992, Exhibits International helped produce the Canada and Ontario exhibit at the World Expo in Seville, Spain and also started a partnership with Nike for the Barcelona Olympic Games.

1993

From the mission of the US holocaust museum, opened in 1993.
1994
Exhibits International opens its first branch office in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Exhibits International begins its work with the auto industry after being awarded Volkswagen, Porsche, and Audi for Canadian trade shows.

1996

Exhibits International continues its presence at Olympic Games, working with Nike in Atlanta.

1997

Automotive work continues with Nissan awarding its business to Exhibits International — and remains a client to this day.

1998

Nike Parks were created in 13 countries for the 1998 Soccer World Cup.

2000
Creation of the humankind- themed Pavilion for Hannover World’s Fair.
2004

Exhibit International is awarded the contract with ABN AMRO in the Volvo Ocean Race. This was the beginning of an eight-year race around the world supporting Puma and CAMPER.

2005
Exhibits International moves into a new home and rebrands as kubik Inc.
2006

Maltbie, one of the preeminent exhibition and museum services firms in the world, is now a kubik company.

2007

kubik Amsterdam continues its growth, by designing visitor centers for E.ON, one of Germany’s largest energy producers.

2008
Bombardier is added as kubik’s first aviation client.

One of kubik’s most prominent projects — Newseum in Washington, D.C. — opens to the public.

2009
Awarded full project scope for the Frank Gehry-designed Biomuseum in Panama.
2010
kubik works with Frank Gehry on his renovation to the Art Gallery of Ontario.
2011

Technology becomes a focus for kubik when it lands the AOL | engadget program at CES Las Vegas.

2012
kubik is awarded the Canadian Museum of Human Rights in Winnipeg, MB.
2013
kubik celebrates 30 years of service.

The company’s aviation program expands when kubik is awarded the Embraer Executive Jets program, Bendix-King and UAS

2015

kubik delivered a turnkey concept for all participating car brands at the Amsterdam Motor Show 2015.

2016

maltbie, a kubik company marks its 55th year in business since its establishment in 1961.
