We are looking for a CNC Programmer who thrives in a fast paced environment.
As an CNC Programmer you will be required to:
Program parts for CNC machines by reading and interpreting approved fabrication drawings. Read drawings and/or sketches of work to be performed and establish machining methods, materials and setups needed to machine the parts required. Translate 2D or 3D drawings into machine readable programs to operate CNC routers including call outs for all material requirements. Support production on a daily basis to ensure that customer needs are being met. Develop, implement and optimize CNC programs for new materials. Program nesting configurations for production staff to optimize material use. Program prototypes, samples, templates.
Who we are looking for:
Grade 12 education with a minimum of 5 years AutoCAD/CNC Programming and setup experience, preferably in a woodwork/millwork shop Experience in cabinetmaking is an asset. Knowledge of Biesse software is an asset. Experience with MasterCAM. Proficient in MS Office. Comfortable using basic and advanced measuring equipment.
Hours of work are 7:00-4:30 with opportunities for overtime.
