We are looking for a Purchasing Assistant who thrives in a fast paced environment.
As a Purchasing Assistant you will be required to:
Generate purchase orders and order standard inventory items, shop supplies and warehouse supplies. Work with vendors to ensure product availability, delivery scheduling and solve any issues. Complete purchase orders for items requisitioned by Project Managers and Graphics. Process cheque requests for purchases requiring deposit payments. Manage follow up on orders including verification of deliveries, communication of discrepancies and late shipments. Update changes to purchase orders and invoices. Maintain purchasing filing. Maintain kubik’s Resource Library. Perform other administrative tasks as required, including reception coverage. Coordinate lunch and learns/presentations with suppliers.
Who we are looking for:
1+ years of experience in purchasing or office administration. Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Able to multi-task, juggle multiple priorities and work well with deadlines. Able to work well independently as well as part of a team. Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
