We are looking for an energetic individual to work as part of a team in a very busy fabrication shop.
In this role you will:
Maintain shop inventory. Assist with shipping/receiving for the shop, accurately recording all data. Assist with general shop help where needed including packing, cleaning and picking up supplies. Ensure efficient flow of raw materials throughout the shop. Expedite the flow of incoming & outgoing shipments efficiently and accurately. Adhere to all health and safety requirements. Ensure proper and safe storage of all materials. You will need to be comfortable in a busy shop environment with noise and dust and able to lift 25+lbs.
Qualified candidates will possess:
Valid driver’s license. Forklift certification preferably with sheet goods experience. Scissor lift certification is an asset. Basic knowledge of sheet goods and hardware. Knowledge of basic tools and equipment. Knowledge of MS Office. Hours of work are 7:00-4:30 with opportunities for overtime
