How do you make something as complex as the energy grid feel personal? For E.ON—one of Europe’s largest energy providers—it started with a simple line: Energy is all around us. Kubik helped bring that idea to life through a semi-permanent visitor center designed to engage, educate, and start meaningful conversations about power, sustainability, and the future of energy.
Working alongside E.ON’s internal team, Kubik was brought in to develop and deliver a space that could translate energy technology into something tactile and relatable. From early design development through fabrication and final installation, our team ensured that every element—interactive or informational—felt both intuitive and immersive.
Visitors could track their carbon footprint, dive into hands-on explorations of alternative energy sources, and step inside an experience that treated power generation as both science and story. Bold visuals and custom digital integration helped demystify the environmental aspects of modern energy, while built-in meeting areas gave E.ON’s corporate teams a space to connect with partners and community groups.
The Impact.
Though the center was semi-permanent, the impact was long-lasting. Designed to evolve with E.ON’s goals, the modular architecture allowed for future updates while maintaining the integrity of the original storytelling experience.
