We Stacked Style with Levi's

Turning Shipping Containers into a Cultural Retail Hub.

Levi’s wanted to create a bold, urban retail experience that would engage football fans, fashion lovers, and casual passersby alike—right in the heart of San Francisco’s waterfront during the Super Bowl. Kubik partnered with MKTG and delivered by transforming industrial shipping containers into a striking, multi-level pop-up experience where culture, commerce, and community came together.

Objectives

Our Design & Build Approach.

Shipping Containers, Reimagined
Kubik engineered and installed a two-level container-based retail space that housed both a pop-up store and a rooftop lounge. Designed for impact and built for speed, the experience proved that small-footprint spaces can deliver massive brand presence.

Retail on the Ground, Culture Upstairs
The first level offered an immersive shopping experience featuring exclusive merchandise and fan gear. Upstairs, the lounge became a social hub where guests could take in the energy of the surrounding festival atmosphere, all within a sleek, Levi’s-branded setting.

Structural Ingenuity
Our team provided turnkey engineering, fabrication, and on-site execution support, adapting a previous Kubik-built container concept into a reimagined experience. All logistics and operations were handled with precision to ensure the build met safety codes and opened on time.

Why It Worked
With its modular architecture and community-forward vibe, the Levi’s Lot at Super Bowl City struck the perfect balance between brand storytelling and on-the-ground engagement.

It became a multi-day magnet for fans, shoppers, and media—delivering standout visibility, buzz, and record sales for the brand.
