To celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Galaxy smartphone and unveil the power of 5G connectivity, Samsung launched a coast-to-coast brand activation that felt like it came from the future. And to bring it to life? They turned to Kubik.
The Samsung 5G Experience Tour was a multi-city, modular pop-up program designed to showcase the next generation of mobile technology. From Austin’s buzzing tech crowd at SXSW to the bright lights of Times Square and the beaches of Miami, Kubik delivered a fleet of futuristic “flying saucer” pavilions that landed in iconic urban settings — and captured the attention of thousands.

Each pod was more than a visual spectacle. Inside, guests stepped into interactive zones that connected Samsung’s 5G capabilities to real-world lifestyle benefits. Visitors could explore immersive content tailored to health and wellness, gaming, creativity, music, and entertainment — all powered by the brand-new Galaxy S10 and Samsung’s cutting-edge devices.
The structures were designed for rapid deployment, scalability, and impact. Despite an ambitious rollout schedule, Kubik handled the full experience design, fabrication, and installation in just three and a half weeks — a testament to both precision planning and creative agility.
