How Rogue can you go?

The Grey Cup has been dropped by celebrating players, accidentally removed from its base, broken when used as a seat, head-butted by a Cup-winning offensive tackle, nearly destroyed in a fire and even held for ransom. But the Grey Cup may finally meet its match when it comes to roguish behavior, thanks to the Nissan Rogue Tailgate party.

The Nissan Rogue Tailgate Party, held on November 25th, will feature a live game show where contestants reveal their most rogue-ish moments for the chance to win great prizes. The game show “Rogue Reveal” will run throughout the Grey Cup Festival November 22 through to the 25th, culminating with the Grey Cup Game. Celebrity judges will be patrolling the party seeking attendees who are willing to confess on video, the most mischievous of whom will be selected to compete in groups of three in front of a panel of judges. The game show will run eleven times over the four day Grey Cup festival.

“The new Nissan Rogue is a fun, aggressive, engaging, performance-oriented vehicle that’s designed to shift the way younger buyers think about crossover SUVs,” said Danny Burns, National Marketing Manager, Nissan Canada. “We wanted to offer Grey Cup party-goers a launch program that matched the characteristics of this new car and really captured what a tailgate party is all about.”

The launch of the all new Nissan Rogue and the creation of the “Rogue Reveal” Game Show is the first product of the new Nissan – kubik partnership. kubik is part of a team that helped create a multi-facetted campaign culminating in the launch of the new vehicle.

“The Nissan Rogue Launch represents a new type of programming for kubik,” said Kate Laughland, Corporate Account Manager, kubik “We’ve always taken great pride in bringing brands to life, building experiences and creating marketing environments that actively engage and connect with their target audiences and we’re excited to be offering our clients a broader range of services.”
