kubik wins Best of Show at EXHIBITOR2010

kubik launched an award winning integrated campaign at EXHIBITOR2010, the world conference and exhibition for trade show and corporate event marketing, showing attendees that they had all the right pieces! kubik was one of two exhibitors that were recognized for the overall excellence of their booth design. Judges used several criteria in selecting the Best of Show winners. These included: Is the booth functional and accessible? Does the booth have an inviting and attractive design layout? Are the booth products displayed effectively? And are the booth products’ marketing messages clear?

kubik took home the title of Best of Show in the category of 200 square-feet or less. “Judged by a panel of their industry peers, the winners were selected out of 248 participating exhibitors.  Noting that the design, execution and boothmanship of this year’s exhibitors were exceptional, the judging panel considered a number of companies before arriving at their final selections” said EXHIBITOR Magazine.

According to Adriano Almeida, Creative Director for kubik, the theme for kubik’s 10X20 exhibit was “We have all the right pieces.” The “pieces” theme for the show was represented by puzzles and kubik used that element for the booth, a pre show mailer and puzzle-themed give-aways.

Attendees were mailed a jig saw puzzle invitation before the show and when completed they had one extra piece. They were asked to return the extra piece to the kubik booth in order to complete puzzles kubik had on site. Once returned and placed on the puzzle a $5 donation was made to Habitat for Humanity. In the event that they forgot the piece, kubik had extras so that all attendees could participate.  After the show, kubik managed to raise $2,000 for Habitat for Humanity.

“This is a direct tie-in to our current marketing campaign in which we decided to focus on educating people about key kubik attributes that they may not be aware of – hands-on service, global reach, award winning portfolio and diverse experience.” said Almeida. “We know that many of our competitors also provide exhibits and events, so we wanted to talk about some of the other things that set us apart… why we had all the right pieces.”
