When Nokia, world leader in mobile communication technology, wanted to promote their new luxurious phone, the Luna 8600, in their flagship stores, they like to do this in an inspiring and innovative way.

Nokia wanted to utilize their flagship stores to inspire and educate their customers about the rewards of mobile communication.  They turned to kubik and UXUS Design to create an innovative and interactive experience that would complement the launch of the new Luna 8600, including an engaging window display and in-store display units that fit perfectly with the concept and overall environment of their flagship stores.

kubik worked hand in hand with UXUS Design to create an environment that brought Nokia’s product and technology to consumers in an interactive and innovative way. The highly innovative, dynamic and attractive display was designed by UXUS with kubik sourcing, producing, transporting and installing the designs in Hong Kong, New York and Chicago.

“kubik did a great job on brining our design to life,” says George Gottl, Co-Creative Director and partner of UXUS Design. “Together we’ve succeeded in lighting up Nokia’s customers faces. The results of the set up are great, in Hong Kong the sales of the Luna doubled in the week after the install!”

“It was a great challenge to realize the design exactly in the way it was meant by UXUS but the resulting installations had a tremendous impact in terms of supporting the launch of the phones, complementing the look of the stores and generating sales” said Paul Blasutti, project manager at kubik. “It was the first time we used the LED screens and the effect was exactly what we where looking for. It is great to hear that the displays result in such a success.”

The in-store display premiered in Hong Kong in July 2007. The innovative displays will be implemented at Nokia’s flag-ship stores around the world throughout August and September, 2007.
