Over four consecutive years kubik partner HP asked us to take the hospital setting to new levels for The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Global Conference & Exhibition, the industry’s largest health information and technology education program and exhibition center.
2016 featured an experiential example of real-world hospital workflow, from check-in through to post-discharge with a focus on HP solutions. A well-defined booth “aisle” directed visitors through each zone, with a clear narrative with workflow to one side of the aisle, and 3 pillars on the opposite side.
2017 capitalized on a larger footprint to showcase even more HP solutions. The hospital setting on the right side of the booth highlighted the “Workplaces Matter” theme and “Demo Bars” were introduced to showcase products. Halo signs improving overhead wayfinding and two new meeting rooms with storage areas were also included in the expanded exhibit.
2018 introduced a brand-new interactive environment design with a theater area for presentations and guest speakers, while a ‘blue thread’ was employed to guide visitors through the hospital journey. A large ground-supported curved feature wall provided a striking graphic opportunity and hanging signs defined the HP interactive space design to create a three-tiered communication platform.
2019 employed the largest HP experiential tradeshow booth space at HIMSS to date with an improved custom-built double-deck structure, introducing conference capabilities with a third meeting room.
An internally lit ‘halo’ hanging sign was used to define the product zones and Population Health featured how HP + partner products work to improve home healthcare.
