4,100 kilometers (or 2,548mi). That’s how long the CFL’s Grey Cup traveled on its 10-week railway journey across Canada. GMR Marketing and kubik teamed up with the CFL to help celebrate the league’s 100th anniversary season, retrofitting the Grey Cup Train that would carry the Canadian icon across the nation. One car even featured a captivating locker room experience for fans. kubik renovated the interior of a train car, allowing fans to feel like they had stepped inside their favourite team’s locker room.
Next stop, the Grey Cup
Other car interiors were retrofitted with interactive digital displays, a 100-year timeline highlighting significant moments throughout the league’s history, and even a hospitality car where fans could meet and talk with stars and past legends. kubik is proud to have helped with a project that brought Canadians together, just as the Grey Cup has for more than a century.
