Renaissance ROM is a dramatic renewal of the Royal Ontario Museum that created new exhibits and galleries for the ROM’s principal collections. The ROM’s revitalized galleries are a testament on seamlessly merging exhibit design of visual aspects, gallery display cases, signage, colour selection, object presentation, lighting, climate control, and furnishings to create a coherent and enjoyable experience for museum visitors.
Housing 27,000 Items of Antiquity
kubik‘s key role was in producing interior furnishings for each display, along with creating and installing custom millwork barriers and graphic panels in a variety of scales, sizes, and production types throughout the galleries. An innovative glass barrier system was installed, increasing the visibility of the artifacts, as well as preserving them for future generations.
