The World's Largest Startup.
Our journey with HP began in 2015, right at a pivotal moment in the company’s history. HP had just split into two distinct entities—Hewlett Packard Enterprise and HP Inc.—and HP Inc. needed a fresh identity, one that would carry the weight of a legendary brand into a new era of innovation.
That’s where we came in.
Crafting a Silicon Valley Playground.
The first big step was designing and building a brand-new Customer Welcome Center at HP’s historic Palo Alto headquarters. This wasn’t just a showcase—it was a storytelling environment, a space where HP could bring customers into the fold and walk them through the brand’s legacy, values, and future.

But that was just the beginning.
Soon after, we partnered with HP’s various business units to rethink how they showed up at trade shows and events. The company had a new rallying cry: reinvention. Everything we created had to embody that spirit. That’s when Kubik’s Head of Creative Services and Strategy introduced a bold new concept that would become a turning point: “Habitat for HP.”
The idea was simple but powerful—the product isn’t the hero. The real story is what people do with the product. So we designed a system that celebrated the creators, the makers, the thinkers—those using HP’s tools to push boundaries. “Habitat” became the physical expression of that vision. It was modular, flexible, and endlessly adaptable—exhibition architecture that could grow, shrink, and evolve depending on the event and the story that needed to be told.
As Habitat gained momentum, more and more HP business units adopted it. It became the foundation for HP’s global brand activations—from 3D printing and rapid manufacturing launches to print, retail, and computing showcases across the Americas and Europe.
To support this expanding ecosystem, Kubik built a custom online portal for HP—essentially a centralized hub where event teams could view, track, and manage the entire fleet of exhibit assets. The impact was huge: better coordination, less waste, and major cost savings. Habitat components could be reused, refurbished, and reimagined for different markets and audiences, contributing to HP’s growing sustainability narrative. We even added a self-serve portables program, letting teams order smaller setups on demand, right from the portal.
Today, nearly a decade into this partnership, Kubik is HP’s go-to experiential partner. We manage over 100 HP activations and events per year across the globe—from compact pop-ups to the biggest Tier-1 shows. Our team of HP specialists spans North America and EMEA, delivering seamless execution across every industry HP touches: telecom, print, healthcare, design, retail, engineering, and consumer electronics.
Together, we’ve helped HP make an unforgettable impact at events like:
- CES
- HIMSS
- NRF (National Retail Federation)
- MWC
- PRINTING United
- ISE
- Autodesk University
- Adobe MAX
- …and many more.
“Thank you to the Kubik team for our amazing and beautiful booth. We’ve heard nothing but positive things about the booth design from HP folks, customer and partners. Thank you for all you did to enable us to have another successful NRF. Our booth looked fantastic. Many compliments from HP management on the look of the booth. One described as “best NRF in his time with HP”… the show was incredible!”
