Dutch Youth Take Flight

Royal Dutch Air Force, Mission Decision Campaign, The Netherlands

The youth outreach arm of the Royal Dutch Airforce wanted to inform youth how to make their dreams of flight become a reality, motivating and inspiring participation in the military.

kubik, in collaboration with the Royal Dutch Air Force, designed, developed and executed ‘Mission Decision’, a campaign designed to generate interest in military careers.

The first leg of the campaign began with mock fighter pilots visiting local schools with a life-sized inflatable F-16 fighter jet, encouraging students to register online for the main ‘Mission Decision’ experiential event. The main event activation consisted of an interactive environment design featuring a Base Camp, featuring and pilot demos with an Apache helicopter and an F-16.

The campaign generated unprecedented publicity, resulting in over 2,000 Royal Dutch Air Forces youth memberships registrations.
