Traveling Pop-Up

Showcasing the future of advanced connectivity with 5G networks and celebrating 10 years of the Samsung Galaxy line and the new S10 smartphone, we created an epic, cross-country tour that included ‘flying saucer’ shaped experiential exhibit pavilions across the US.

With experiential activation pop-ups occurring simultaneously at SXSW in Austin, Miami Beach, Times Square in New York, and downtown Hollywood in LA, and subsequent waves strategically occurring in other major markets as well, kubik executed the fast-paced 3 ½ week design, fabrication, and installation of an inter-connected modular pod experience.

Thousands of guests were invited to experience a variety of Samsung-powered activities and content. Each interactive environment design included an activity zone focused on a different lifestyle aspect, including health and wellness, gaming, music and entertainment etc.

Flexible, Scalable, Connected 

The Samsung ecosystem was equipped with 5G networks and composed of unique inter-connected pods each positioned to resonate with Samsung’s 4 key audience communities: creators, gamers, entrepreneurs, and health and fitness.

Flexible and scalable, our ambitious and effective design allowed the interest-focused pods to be either connected or separated into autonomous venues. Each pod resonated deeply with Samsung target audiences at any of the strategically chosen locations and accommodated various geographical footprints.

Managing Complexities with Ease 

The kubik account team ensured that regional logistics, permits, zoning and installation scheduling regulations were managed efficiently in each of our diverse and challenging geographic locations.

While visitors enjoyed experiencing the network connectivity benefits of 5G and the impressive features of Samsung devices, the kubik experiential design facilitated true connection between an industry-leading brand and its consumers.
