kubik was challenged to create a new look to an existing design and deliver a new level of premium for the Infiniti brand, adapting the INFINITI global events platform to work in the Canadian marketplace.
kubik incorporated features to complement the brands’ direction where performance and technology meet design with many new design elements focused on achieving a clean and luxurious feel throughout the display. The existing structure was modified to create a flexible, modular design capable of fitting a wide range of creative event marketing footprints. Globally specified materials/finishes were also reviewed to determine where they could be improved and how to provide cost-savings with reasonable (locally sourced) alternatives.
The new look included a large high-resolution video wall (40’L x 14’H), 100′ curved wall in high gloss reflecting automotive quality paint finishes, glass-enclosed premium customer lounge with high-end furnishings, and raised hardwood flooring enhanced with laminated gloss black inlays.
One of the more unique aspects of this project was the development of an interactive arcade game brand experience design that was also a historical retrospective of the brand. Based on classic driving games, guests were able to drive through a course with each leg of the race featuring a different generation of Infiniti vehicles.
