KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is of the most established participants in the European airline industry. KLM requested kubik’s assistance in the implementation of a celebration campaign, “Journeys of Inspiration” for their 9th anniversary.
The airline activation campaign featured a pan-European promotional tour in a custom-built hospitality truck. The trucks branded environment design was focused on two themes: a “Tour of Inspiration” showcasing new KLM products and services, and a “Tour in Time” celebrating the 90-year history of KLM. The truck traveled to over 30 cities and 16 countries. With specially arranged creative events activation at every stop, KLM was able to present its complete range of products and services to thousands of people.
Every available surface within the KLM Hospitality Truck was put to use, from wall graphics to central display systems. The truck featured KLM’s newest first-class reclining seats; communicating and highlight the past and future of KLM. The tour’s total expected CO2 emissions were compensated through the KLM C0@Zero program.
